Nati in piena esplosione trip-hop sotto l’influenza degli immensi Portishead, gli Hooverphonic (nonostante due dischi ben riusciti negli anni ‘90) hanno dovuto aspettare il 2000 per arrivare al successo di massa con la hit “Mad About You” (contenuta in “The Magnificent Tree”).
